How to Draw Christmas Presents
- Draw straight lines.
In the first step, you need to paint the joint picture of what will eventually be drawn on your paper.
- Draw the top of the boxes.
Above the lines that you have already drawn, depict additional lines that will be the lids of the boxes. They should be wider than the bottom base of the boxes themselves.
- Draw the top.
Now finish depicting what you started in the last step. Try to draw all this by hand, without using a ruler. This will help you learn to draw straight, clean lines.
- Draw ribbons and bows.
Any gifts are closed with bows of different colors and types. In this step, you can see an example of what these ribbons and bows look like. Sketch exactly as shown in the picture.
- Finish your pencil drawing.
If you have already drawn everything with a pencil, then compare your drawing and what is shown in the picture in the fifth step. If you don’t like something, it is better to fix it at this stage of depicturing.
- Trace your illustration with a black marker.
If you want the lines and contours of your illustration to be more pronounced, then take your black marker and trace the depicture over the lines that you drew in pencil.
- Color the goodly gift boxes.
It remains to color your depicture with gifts and the picture will be complete! You can paint according to the example of our lesson, but if you have a desire to be creative, then paint in the colors that you like best.
