How to Draw a Soccer Ball
- Draw the shape.
Begin by drawing the basic round ball shape.
- Draw the pentagon.
The soccer ball is made up of pentagons and hexagons, with stitching in between. Draw the first pentagon as in the example.
- Add the pentagon.
Now add a parallel pentagon that should be positioned a little further away from the first pentagon.
- Draw the bottom.
Now, at the bottom of the ball, draw a half pentagon like in the example.
- Add the top.
Finish drawing the pentagons by adding the top one.
- Connect the covers.
Now you need to connect the covers of the ball to form the white parts of the soccer ball. Start doing this on the right side, as in the example.
- Complete the sketch.
