Hello everybody! In this step-by-step drawing tutorial, you can learn how to draw the solar system easy! The solar system is a large system that consists of many objects that are located around a large source of energy, heat, and light. Probably everyone understood that we are talking about the sun! All the planets of the solar system are located in a clear sequence, the distances between their orbits increase depending on the distance from the sun. We can talk endlessly about space, so let’s put aside the facts about the planetary system and move on to drawing! We hope that with the help of this tutorial, you will sketch out a great drawing of this space system. Enjoy drawing!
Time needed: 35 minutes
How to Draw the Solar System Easy
- Draw the semicircle.
Begin by drawing the sun on the left. The sun in our drawing is half visible, so you can draw it in the form of a semicircle.
- Add Mercury.
Draw the planet closest to the sun, called Mercury.
- Add Venus.
Now draw the second planet in the solar system—Venus.
- Draw the Earth.
Now add our home planet—Earth. You will draw the textures of the planets a little later.
- Add Mars.
Now you need to sketch Mars, which is closest to Earth. Mars is most similar in structure to Earth, but Mars lacks an atmosphere due to which in the near future people would not be able to live on Mars.
- Draw Jupiter.
Now add Jupiter, which is the largest planet in our solar system.
- Add Saturn’s ring.
Draw Saturn’s ring system as shown in the example.
- Depict Saturn and Uranus.
Draw now the planet Saturn and neighboring Uranus.
- Add Neptune.
Now sketch the ring of the planet Uranus, and the neighboring planet called Neptune. By the way, Neptune and Uranus are considered ice planets.
- Add meteorite and Pluto.
Add a falling burning meteorite as shown, and also draw the dwarf planet Pluto. Make a wish as you draw a falling meteorite!
- Detail objects.
Add the structure of the planets by sketching the structure of the Sun, Earth, and other space objects.
- Add path lines for the orbits.
Draw the lines of the planetary system, which will highlight the orbits of the planets that move around the Sun.
- Add stars.
Now draw a lot of stars that are in the background of the entire solar system. Make the pencil lines dotted by erasing with an eraser.
- Color the drawing.
Now color all the planets of the planetary system in the desired colors, and color the space background in dark blue or dark purple.
Amazing art is ready! We hope that we helped you create a cool artwork of the solar system that you can share with your friends. And you can also share this simple instruction with your friends on social networks, and we advise you to sketch this space art with friends together!
