How to Draw an Easy Building for Kids
- Draw the roof.
Start by drawing the roof of the building.
- Draw the bottom roof.
To do this, step back some distance down and draw a trapezoidal roof shape.
- Draw the walls.
To do this, you only need to draw two vertical, parallel lines from the edges of the building’s roof. This will shape the building and connect the two roofs.
- Draw the windows.
Now draw rectangular windows all over the building. The example has 6 windows, but you can draw a different number of windows.
- Draw the bottom.
Now draw the bottom of the building where the door to the building will be located.
- Draw the arch.
Draw the building’s large arched door using two parallel lines that are connected at the top with a single curved line.
- Draw the roof on the right.
To the right of the house is an extension, its roof, and you need to draw following the example from this step.
- Draw the body of the extension.
Draw the shape of this part of the building as shown.
- Draw the chimney.
The easiest step: draw a small rectangle on the roof of the extension.
- Add details.
Detail this part of the building by adding windows, as in the example.
- Color the drawing of the building.
Using a fountain pen or marker, trace the outline of the sketch, then add color using crayons or pencils.
