How to Draw a Teddy Bear Step by Step
- Draw the head.
Start by drawing the shape of the teddy bear’s head. It should be slightly oval with a wider top. Inside the head, closer to the bottom, draw a small oval area — this will be the bear’s muzzle.
- Add the ears and eyes.
Add ears to the head. Draw two semicircles on the left and right sides of the top of the head. Then add the eyes — two small circles placed symmetrically on either side of the muzzle. In this step, you should also draw the bear’s nose.
- Add details to the bear’s head.
Draw a short line downward from the bottom of the nose to create the mouth. You can add curved lines above the eyes to emphasize the eyebrows. Add ear details by drawing inner semicircles in each ear. For the eyes, create a reflection effect by adding curved lines inside them.
- Depict the feet.
In this step, draw two oval shapes for the teddy bear’s feet. Simply follow the example shown.
- Detail the feet.
Add small ovals inside each foot to represent the pads. To further detail the feet, draw smaller shapes of the same ovals inside the original ones, as shown in the step.
- Draw the bear’s torso.
Now it’s time to draw the bear’s torso. Use curved lines to connect the head and feet, then add a horizontal curved line to close off the bottom part of the body.
- Draw the arms.
On the right and left sides of the bear’s torso, draw short curved lines to add the bear’s arms.
- Add the background.
Add details to your drawing. Draw a cloud or a similar shape beneath the teddy bear to make it look like it is sitting on a soft surface.
- Color your drawing.
Color your teddy bear! Use brown for the head and body, light beige for the muzzle, and black for the nose and eyes. You can color the cloud light blue.
