However, thinking and articulate speech are far from all the differences between man and other creatures. A person is able to freely choose, to be responsible for his actions. People have inherent ideas about good and evil, fair and unfair, about honor and duty.

How to Draw a Person
- Outline the head.
Start by drawing the head. First, depict the cartoonish shape of the personages head.
- Add the torso.
Now you need to sketch the human torso as shown in the example. The torso should be drawn just below the head.
- Draw pants.
Now it’s time to depict the person’s legs. Use straight lines for this in the same way as shown in the example.
- Add sleeves.
On both sides of the torso draw the sleeves of the person’s shirt.
- Depict the hands.
Right under the sleeves, sketch the hands and fingers of the person. To draw hands in detail, you can watch the lesson on drawing hands.
- Draw the shoes.
Feet shod in shoes is another element that needs to be drawn for a more complete image of a person. Draw two curved arcs and connect them to form a toe cap. Add a small heel, drawn with two lines – one short vertical and a longer one at the bottom.
- Face details.
Let’s move on to drawing the face. First you need to draw two small eyes of the person, a nose, and an ear.
- Add hair.
Draw the nice hairstyle of the person using curved lines as in the example. After that, draw small eyebrows above the eyes. Also in this step, connect the head and torso of the person using two straight lines, as shown in the example.
- Add details.
Our character is depicted with a beard, and this is the beard you need to draw. Also, following the example from the step, add the details of the shirt, this is a collar and a round button.
- Color the drawing.
Start the coloring process by tracing the outlines of the sketch using markers or a fountain pen. Then you can already shade your drawing with coloring supplies such as crayons, felt-tip pens or colored pencils.
