How to Draw a Jacket for Kids
Learn how to draw a jacket for kids step by step with this elementary drawing tutorial for schoolers and preschoolers.

Good day everyone! In this tutorial, we will tell and show you how to draw a jacket for kids. A jacket is a piece of outerwear, a cropped warm thing. What materials does it consist of? The jackets are made of water-repellent fabric (eg denim). Faux fur and other materials are also used. It should also be noted that the item in question has a warm lining.
Features of the jacket can be a hood, rather long sleeves, a front slit with a zipper. We can say with confidence that this wardrobe item is one of the most useful human inventions, as it reliably protects from various bad weather. Drawing a jacket will help you develop and consolidate the skills of drawing curved lines, symmetrical shapes. Let’s start!
Time needed: 30 minutes.
How to Draw a Jacket for Kids
- Draw the front of the jacket.
The shape of the front of the product resembles a barrel. Draw it using two curved lines connected to each other at the top and bottom.
- Draw the collar.
Add a curved collar at the top. To do this, draw two short oblique lines, connect them with an arc.
- Draw the sleeves.
To depict the sleeve, you need to draw two curves – one from the shoulder of the jacket, the other – from about the middle – and connect them together at the bottom. Repeat the same action on the other side.
- Add a zipper.
In the middle, draw two vertical, slightly curved lines.
- Draw the top pocket.
Place a small strip on the side of the zipper.
- Draw the bottom pockets.
Paired bottom pockets can be easily opened with obtuse corners. Start this corner with a middle zipper and end on the side of the garment itself. Draw the second pocket in the same way.
- Details.
Draw a horizontal line at the bottom of the jacket.
- Color the drawing.
We hope that this was a useful and informative lesson for you. Be sure to show your new drawing to friends and family. We also recommend that you familiarize yourself with other drawing lessons for kids.
