How to Draw the Moon for Kids
- Draw a crescent moon.
To begin, start by drawing a long, curved line (semicircle) that should remain unfinished. Then connect the ends of the semicircle with a curved arc. When drawing, rely on our drawing.
- Draw the eyes and eyebrows.
The moon appears in the sky only at night, when everyone is asleep, so it must be shown that the crescent moon is also going to sleep. Draw the eyes in small semicircles and add some cilia. Draw small lines above the eyes to represent the eyebrows.
- Draw the nose and mouth.
Draw an unfinished circle for the nose under the eyes, and a small semicircle for the mouth.
- Draw the stars.
Draw some small stars near the crescent moon.
- Color the drawing.
Color the entire drawing in different shades of yellow. If you wish, you can try to color the star in other colors, for example, blue or green.
We hope that this was a useful and informative lesson for you. Be sure to show your new drawing to friends and family. We also recommend that you familiarize yourself with other drawing lessons for beginners.
