How to Draw a Roast Turkey for Kids
- Draw baked potatoes and lingonberries.
You need to start drawing a turkey with additional products. Draw a series of circles of different diameters, alternating with each other. Large circles—baked potatoes, next to small circles—lingonberries.
- Add the lettuce leaves.
Draw some wavy leaves below the circles.
- Sketch the plate.
Next, draw a part of the plate in the form of an arc. It starts from the lettuce leaf on the left side and ends on the right.
- Draw the turkey wing.
Moving on to the turkey itself. Draw two diagonal lines from the same point. Then continue them to the right, forming a semi-oval. This will create a bird’s wing. See an example from the instructions.
- Start drawing the leg.
To do this, draw a large oval a little to the right of the wing.
- Add the bone.
On the right side of the leg, draw two lines that taper and form two arcs at the end—you will get a bone.
- Draw the second bone.
Repeat the action: draw a second bone next to the first, slightly smaller.
- Draw the rest of the turkey.
One of the final steps is to draw a large semicircle as shown in the instructions to outline the rest of the body.
- Color the drawing.
The following colors were used: turkey carcass, dark orange-yellow, light yellow for baked potatoes, red lingonberries. Green is the salad and blue is the serving plate.
