How to Draw a Lion for Kids
- Draw the head of the lion.
The first step is to draw the lion’s head in the shape of a circle. Nothing complicated!
- Draw the lion’s mane.
The mane can be drawn in a zigzag around the head in any shape.
- Draw the torso and ears.
Draw the body in the shape of a large oval. And the ears can be made in the form of 2 small circles between the mane and the head line.
- Depict the face.
Draw the eyes with filled circles. Draw the nose with a soft triangle, lowering the lines downward, turning into a smile. Also draw the tail of the lion, elongated by a slightly curved triangle.
- Draw legs.
Draw the legs of the lion as in our drawing—parallel lines connected in a semicircle. Draw a droplet to the tail, completing the tail.
- Color your drawing!
We used yellow as the main color. Orange and brown for the mane of the nose and tail of the lion (you can use other colors)
