How to Draw a Hoodie Step by Step
- Draw an oval.
Start by drawing the oval shape for the open part of the hoodie’s hood.
- Draw the hood.
Above the oval shape drawn in the first step, draw the additional oval of a larger size than the first oval. This will form the hood of the hoodie.
- Draw the torso.
Extend two lines from the sides of the head to form the shoulders of the hoodie, then draw the side parts using curved lines as shown in the example. Complete the step by adding the line at the bottom of the hoodie.
- Add hoodie details.
Draw the hoodie’s drawstrings, then add a line for the hoodie’s zipper.
- Draw the pockets.
In the bottom part of the hoodie, draw the area with pockets, as shown in the example. Use straight lines to do this.
- Add the sleeves.
Now you need to draw the sleeves using smooth curved lines as shown.
- Draw the cuffs.
The final step in drawing the hoodie will be adding sleeve cuffs and the waistband cuff.
- Color your drawing.
Trace the contours of your pencil drawing using a marker, then add color to your drawing using your coloring tools.
