Hello everybody! In this tutorial, you will learn how to draw a fly for kids step by step. The fly is a common dipteran insect. These insects have rather large and complexly arranged eyes on their heads, short antennae, small and transparent wings.
The lesson is designed for artists of all skill levels, as we tried to use light geometric shapes. But in order to draw a cartoon fly, you should clearly follow the instructions, and then you will definitely be able to draw an insect.

How to Draw a Fly for Kids
- Draw the eyes.
First, draw 2 large eyes in the shape of close circles.
- Add pupils.
Next, add pupils in the form of black dots.
- Start drawing the head.
Above the eyes, draw the top of the head in an arc shape.
- Draw the proboscis
Draw the proboscis below the eyes as shown in the instructions.
- Draw the body.
Draw the large body oval under the head.
- Draw the legs.
On each side of the body, draw three small lines for the legs.
- Start drawing the wings.
Draw an oval wing on the back of the fly.
- Add 2 wing.
Draw 2 wing in the same way, which is slightly noticeable.
- Color your fly.
Color the head and body of the fly in dark blue, and make the eyes yellow. Shade the wings blue.
