Hello everybody! In this lesson, we have prepared a simple instruction on how to draw a flamingo for kids. The pink flamingo is an exceptionally graceful and beautiful bird. This step-by-step drawing tutorial builds on each previous step by step until you get to the final drawing of the Flamingo.

Before we start drawing a pink flamingo, let’s get to know this bird a little. Flamingos are a genus of birds that are part of the flamingo family and the flamingo order. It is a southern waterfowl with pale pink plumage and a long neck and legs. We have depicted such an attractive bird in its classic form.

How to Draw a Flamingo for Kids

Begin by drawing the head and neck.
You need to start by drawing the top of the head in a semicircle shape and from it draw the lines of the neck that end in wavy lines. The shape must be “2” shaped
Add the eye and beak.
Start with a black dot in the center of the head to indicate the eye. Draw the beak in the form of an inverted triangle. Note that the flamingo’s beak is large and hooked.
Draw the flamingo’s body.
Draw the body at the base of the neck as shown in the instructions.
Add the bird’s wing.
Draw a wing in the middle of the torso, and to indicate the feathers, draw several small, unfinished ovals on one side.
Start drawing the legs.
From the sketch torso, draw two parallel lines downward, at the end of which a foot with 3 toes.
Draw the second leg.
Draw the flamingo’s second leg in the similar way.
Color your flamingo.
