How to Draw a Face for Kids
- Draw the outline of the face.
Draw an oval in the middle of the sheet. As a rule, the chin is narrower than the parietal part of the head.
- Draw the hair.
Draw the hair at the top of the head. It is necessary to draw two arcuate lines connecting in the middle.
- Add ears.
Draw ears on both sides of the oval. It is important to keep your ears level. First, draw a small oval on one head and then repeat the same for the other in the same way.
- Draw the eyebrows and eyes.
Draw eyebrow lines just below the forehead. Make them slightly curved towards the bottom, but don’t bend them too much to make your face look sad. Step back a little and draw the eyes. Draw two arcuate short lines on the right and left at the same level, leaving room for the nose in the middle. Draw circles under the lines – these are the pupils.
- Draw the nose and mouth.
Draw a nose in the center of the oval. Stepping back below eye level, we see a small line of the nose. It should look like an upward curved arc. Step back just below the nose, draw a smile. Draw a slightly upward curved arc, and end it with a shorter line below it, repeating the curve.
- Color your drawing.
If you want to get a clearer drawing, then we suggest you use a fountain pen and a marker to trace the outlines of the sketch. Then use crayons or any other coloring tools for shading.
We hope to help you develop your drawing skills. Don’t stop at one, draw even more drawings and keep creating!
