Hello everybody! In this lesson, you will learn how to draw Patrick Star for kids step by step. Patrick is very funny and one of the key characters in the famous cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants. Patrick is a starfish who resides in Bikini Bottom and is SpongeBob’s main companion on all adventures. He has a pinkish torso with a tight build and wears bright green Hawaiian shorts with purple flowers. Let’s move on to drawing Patrick from SpongeBob. - Draw Patrick’s top.
The character has a very unusual body shape, since all the limbs are part of the starfish. First, you need to draw Patrick’s head in the shape of a triangle.
- Draw the shorts.
Draw the small rectangle and make a square cutout at the bottom to indicate two legs.
- Draw Patrick’s face.
Draw two large eyes at the top of the head, and two points for the pupils inside. Next, draw two small lines above the eyes to indicate the eyebrows, and below, draw one large line for the mouth. At the bottom of the torso, in the middle, place a small dot for the navel.
- Draw the hands.
Draw two triangles along the sides to indicate the arms. Focus on the overall image of the starfish.
- Draw the legs.
Draw the legs in the same way as the arms.
- Decorate the drawing on the pants.

- Color the drawing.
Patrick’s standard color is pink. Shade the entire shape pink, leaving the eyes white. Draw the pants in two colors: purple and green.
